Bloomberg confirms MENA TV/radio channels

Bloomberg has linked with Middle East publisher Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG) as its local partner to launch an Arabic-language business-focussed TV news channel. The original agreement was signed in September 2017.
A previous announcement that the TV channel would be called Bloomberg Al Arabiya has been modified as a result of the agreement, and the channel will now be called Bloomberg Asharq, a reference to the publisher’s existing Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
The news channel will operate out of Dubai’s International Finance Centre with other studios in Abu Dhabi, Cairo and Riyadh.
