Netflix takes Bake Off to the US

Netflix has acquired the rights to show The Great British Bake Off in the US.
Last year’s series, the first to air on Channel 4 after they outbid BBC to acquire the show rights, will be made available on the streaming service from August 31st.
The upcoming series, which starts in the UK on August 28th, will follow later this year.
Netflix is the only place in t eh US to watch the show, where it is known as The Great British Baking Show.
