Pay-TV subs at 52.5m in Q1 in former USSR countries

According to Dataxis research, pay-TV subscriptions in former European USSR countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia) reached 53.2 million in the first quarter of 2018, a 3 per cent YoY growth. In line with global trends, cable TV is declining in all countries of the region (-2 per cent YoY).
