Sky Deutschland dropping RTL pay-TV services
June 27, 2018
Germany’s RTL has revealed its pay-TV stations RTL Crime, RTL Passion and RTL Living are being dropped by Sky Deutschland from July 17th after the companies were unable to reach a deal on prices going forward.
The RTL Group said it regretted that these channels would no longer be available with Sky “despite intense efforts”, although it noted that nearly every cable and IPTV household across Germany and Austria can still receive the services via either Vodafone, Unitymedia and Telekom’s EntertainTV service in Germany, via UPC Austria and in Switzerland via UPC and Teleclub.
