Aura, Telefónica’s artificial intelligence (AI), voice-controlled digital assistant, has been added to the Movistar Plus pay-TV platform in Spain via iOS and Android apps.

Subscribers to Movistar Plus can now use voice commands to change channels, search for content, ask for recommendations, order content, and pause and rewind content whilst using the service.

Subscribers will be able use the voice command service through their smartphones. The voice assistant is also present on Telefónica’s other pay-TV platforms in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, UK and Germany.
