Apple hires Gaumont’s Trussell

Apple has appointed Gaumont Television executive Carol Trussell as the head of production for Apple’s video programming division.
Trussell was a producer for HBO’s hit fantasy-horror True Blood, and additional credits include Roswell, Unnatural History and Hannibal. She has served as the head of production at Gaumont Television since 2013.
Apple has hired notable executives in recent months from companies such as Amazon Studios, Sony and Universal Television as it seeks to significantly boost its original content output.
