Belgium: Eleven Sports extends La Liga rights
January 26, 2018
Global sports provider Eleven Sports has extended its La Liga coverage in Belgium after agreeing an improved 3-year partnership with the Spanish football league. The new partnership means that fans will not miss a minute of the action as all La Liga matches will be available on Eleven Sports. Prior to the new agreement, Eleven showed up to six La Liga matches every weekend.
The new partnership will begin from the 2018-2019 season and includes exclusive highlights, near live clips for social media and regular magazine style shows to engage fans outside of the match experience.
“The three year extension of this partnership is evidence of the strong foundations we have built with LaLiga in Belgium by engaging dedicated fans through extensive live action and in-depth, pre and post-match studio and pitch-side analysis.” said Anouk Mertens, Managing Director, Belgium, Eleven Sports. “Eleven Sports is available in every home in Belgium and we are delighted to offer all fans the opportunity to enjoy every match from one of the world’s top sports leagues.”
