With the consultation, the Government aims to set the agenda and timings for the second DTT migration which will release bandwidth for 5G services.
The Administration has made a questionnaire of 17 queries to be submitted to Public Administrations, operators, companies and consumers Associations with proposals and ideas about the second digital dividend.
The process for the DTT migration is likely to be completed in 2020, although a moratorium until 2022 is also being considered.
