WeTek launching children’s streaming service

WeTek, a company focused on designing set-top boxes and video distribution solutions, is preparing to unveil PlayTimeTV, a new streaming service for children developed in partnership with the Portuguese content provider TV4You.
The new service, based on WeTek’s OVP platform – WeCast, offers a wide range of children’s content such as animated movies and tv shows. It will be available via web-browser, smartphone, and tablet
The service will be unveiled at the next Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal taking place from November 6th to 9th.
Hugo Condesa, WeTek CEO, said the company’s presence at this event is “a unique opportunity to show how WeTek has grown since last year” adding that it is “an exciting opportunity for showcasing made in Portugal innovation to a broader audience whether it is TV hardware, video distribution platforms or IoT solutions.”
