Netflix ending House of Cards
October 31, 2017
Netflix has revealed that Season 6 of House of Cards, which is currently in production, will be the final instalment of its flagship show.
The news comes following allegations that its star, Kevin Spacey, sexually harassed a 14 year old boy at a party in 1986. Spacey claims he has no memory of the incident and said he owed alleged victim Anthony Rapp a “sincere apology” for what he said would have been “deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour”.
Netflix claims that the decision to end the show was made months ago, and not in response to the allegations about Spacey surfacing.
The final season will launch in 2018.
