A user on news aggregation website Reddit, claiming to be an Amazon engineer, has kickstarted a rumour that Amazon Prime Video will soon be launching on Apple TV, possibly even as soon as October 26^th.

The alleged employee claims that the app has been ready for months but has been delayed because of “a lot of politics.”

The absence of Amazon Prime Video on Apple TV so far has been one of the top complaints from customers.
