Facebook to stream US College Football
August 25, 2017
Facebook has struck a deal with digital sports network Stadium that will see the social networking company live-stream 15 US College Football games this season starting next week.
The agreement gives Facebook exclusive rights to show six Mountain West games and nine Conference USA games. The games will not be televised.
Facebook also recently reached a deal to stream Champions League matches, and also shows games from Liga MX, Mexico’s top soccer league. It has streamed Major League Baseball and NBA games in the past, but did not have exclusive rights to those.
