ShowTime to debut in India

Indian SVoD service Hotstar has signed a deal with see CBS that will see the Showtime channel make its debut in the country. Subscribers will have access to popular shows including Twin Peaks: The Return, Billions and The Affair.
Ajit Mohan, CEO of Hotstar, commented: “The deal with CBS is in line with our strategy of bringing the best of new shows and movies from around the world to our Premium subscribers.”
Hotstar’s Premium service already offers exclusive access to shows from Disney, Fox and HBO.
