A man in Central California has been arrested by federal authorities after he allegedly illegally uploaded the Marvel film Deadpool just eight days after its February 2016 release.
Authorities said Trevon Maurice Franklin’s uplink to Facebook allowed more than 5 million people to watch it for free.
The FBI has arrested the 21-year-old Fresno man, charging him with copyright infringement, according to a US District Court grand jury indictment.
