Spain: Euskaltel to launch Android 4K STB

The Basque Country-based cable operator Euskaltel is launching a new 4K set-top-box this month with Android technology for current and new clients.
The company is also upgrading its network with the deployment of DOCSIS 3.1 covering 24 per cent of its network, with plans to surpass 40 per cent in June.
Euskaltel currently has 275,000 pay TV subscribers with a 58.5 per cent penetration.
