Vodafone Spain is to air the Real Madrid vs Barcelona football match (dubbed ‘El Clasico’) in Ultra HD on April 23^rd.

Subscribers with a 4K-equipped TV set, the new Vodafone 4K TiVo STB and the Vodafone Fútbol or Sport package will be able to watch it in the UHD format.

Vodafone is strongly relying on 4K transmissions to capture new subscribers, and is actively encouraging the TV industry to develop more 4K content.
