Germany: Half DTT users switch to DVB-T2

Over half (51.2 per cent) of DTT users in Germany have already switched to the new DVB-T2 standard since its launch on March 29th, according to a survey by TNS Infratest for streaming TV provider Zattoo.
Some 17 per cent switched to a different method of TV reception already used elsewhere in their home, and 23 per cent adopted a new method, mainly satellite (11.4 per cent).
Around 7 per cent transferred to cable and 3 per cent stream TV online.
As of the first week of April, 5.5 percent had not yet decided.
