April 19, 2017
Eurofins Digital Testing, a global player in end-to-end quality assurance (QA) and testing services, has been selected by Zenterio, a TV technology and services provider, to automate monitoring of service availability across Zenterio OS middleware for connected pay-TV operators with set-top box chipsets.
Zenterio delivers solutions that enable TV operators to grow their revenues, offer a compelling multiscreen user experience and harmonise software for new and legacy devices and set-top boxes. Zenterio OS is a hardware independent software platform that seamlessly manages DVB, IP and OTT channels alongside services such as PVR, catch-up, VoD, apps, and can also be deployed on legacy boxes in field thanks to software migration. Under this agreement, Zenterio will use Eurofins’ cloud-based TestWizard system to automate testing and provide performance monitoring for quality assurance of Zenterio products for worldwide operators, including DeutscheTelekom, Ericsson, Huawei, Viaccess-Orca, Megacable, and others.
“Zenterio is committed to using cutting-edge solutions that provide our customers with the highest quality interactive TV services,” said Marco Frattolin, Vice President of Product Management at Zenterio. “Automation is essential for operators looking to improve efficiency and quality assurance, and Eurofins’ TestWizard system ensures that our operator customers around globe have the required functionality to deploy feature updates and new services faster and more efficiently.”
