ATP launches World Tour Archive
April 18, 2017
ATP Media, the broadcast arm of the ATP World Tour, has announced the launch of the pioneering ATP World Tour Archive. Now available to further enhance and promote the live programme offering of ATP Media’s broadcast partners, the comprehensive and unique portfolio of tennis archive footage is also accessible on a use-by-use basis to independent production companies and sponsors.
The upgraded new platform now makes available over 1,100 matches and 2,500 hours of match content – including all available semi-finals and finals from the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Series, round robin matches from the season ending ATP Finals and other significant matches from the past 27 years.
Stuart Watts, ATP Media Chief Operating Officer, commented: “At ATP Media, we constantly challenge ourselves to innovate and stay ahead of the curve and the launch of the enhanced ATP World Tour Archive is testament to this. The site makes content instantly available to those seeking the best moments from the ATP World Tour Masters 1000s and ATP Finals. We’re proud to offer this additional service to our broadcasters and are excited to see how rights holders will use it to enhance our global product. Our huge library of content, showcasing the world’s best players going back to the inception of the ATP World Tour, will enable us to protect and enhance the heritage of the Tour whilst it constantly evolves in the process.”
