Daily Mail TV for 66% of US

DailyMailTV, a syndicated show covering celebrities, gossip, human interest stories has been picked up by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tribune Broadcasting and other local station owners.
Two 30-minute segments each weekday to be broadcast in 105 markets reaching 66 per cent of the US.US TV stations already carry a number of syndicated entertainment shows, including Page Six TV, based on the New York Post’s gossip section, TMZ and Entertainment Tonight. The move into TV is the latest attempt by the owners of the Daily Mail to diversify out of the traditional print business and expand its reach in the US.
The Mail Online has grown rapidly since its launch back in 2003 to become the world’s biggest English language news website. DailyMailTV is being produced by Stage 29, the production company run by Jay McGraw, son of Phillip McGraw, better known as Dr Phil. A psychologist who originally surged to fame on the Oprah Winfrey show before launching his own series in 2002, Dr Phil will serve as an executive producer.
