MENA satellite service provider HorizonSAT and GOBX, a new premium entertainment platform, have both chosen Irdeto Cloaked CA to protect their premium content.
Irdeto Cloaked CA with Irdeto FlexiCore will enable HorizonSAT to securely launch and deliver new pay TV services to the Filipino population in the MENA region, as well as Irdeto’s Cloaked CA securing GOBX premium content delivery for MENA consumers, including over 40 HD channels and exclusive HD entertainment channels.
“As a trusted and proven security leader in the MENA region, Irdeto was a natural choice to protect our new services,” said Waleed Al-Hejailan, CEO and Chairman of HorizonSat Group. “Irdeto Cloaked CA offers us cost effective, end-to-end protection along with an agile approach and local presence to quickly respond to our commercial and technical requirements. This enables us to focus on delivering great content and experiences to Filipino consumers.”
“GOBX provides high quality content to customers in MENA and is at the forefront of secure content delivery – we are proud to be embarking on this partnership,” said Bengt Jonsson, SVP Global Sales at Irdeto. “We offer GOBX a holistic, 360 degree approach that not only protects the business but enables them to focus on delivering next-generation entertainment to their customers.”
