Globecast has been selected by Arabsat to broadcast TRT World, the Turkish international news platform, over the MENA region on Arabsat’s Badr-6 satellite at 26° East.

Globecast is the global distributor of the TRT news platform and is supplying global packaged services to TRT World for the project. The company is providing connectivity through its fibre network and its Paris NOC, which enables the uplinking of the channel to Arabsat’s Badr-6 satellite. The channel will be available in full HD.
