Swiss cable operator UPC finished 2016 with a strong fourth quarter. During the last three months of the year, the subscriber base increased by just under 30,000 in fixed and 10,000 in mobile. In addition, year-on-year revenue grew by 1.8 per cent in Switzerland to CHF 344 million (€323m).

The number of TV subscribers increased again (+7,000) and the target of connecting 50,000 new homes in Switzerland/Austria in 2016 set as part of the extensive Autostrada investment programme was met.
