Multiscreen video software specialist SeaChange International has promoted Jonathan Rider to the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, advancing from his prior role as Chief Information Officer.
“Promoting Jon to COO facilitates the ongoing turnaround of SeaChange, whereby he is taking on additional responsibilities for the execution of improvements to achieve further cost reductions, while enhancing sales and marketing, business development, product development, delivery and service,” said CEO Ed Terino. “Jon’s expanded role allows us to leverage his extensive operational experience to elevate our quality, responsiveness and profitability from customer implementations, service, and support.”
Rider joined SeaChange as CIO in April 2016. Previously, as CIO for Dynatrace, he managed an infrastructure footprint covering 20 countries and implemented an agile development environment for more rapid software releases.
