Trump quits Murdoch Trust
February 9, 2017
It is becoming clear there’s been and long and close relationship between the Trump and Murdoch clans. It has emerged the President’s daughter Ivanka was for several years a trustee of a fund set up for Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng’s daughters – a position she quit in December after her father’s election.
Murdoch’s Fox News and New York Post were lonely media advocates for a Trump presidency.
And it has now emerged that when London Times columnist and MP/Brexiteer/ failed Prime Ministerial candidate, Michael Gove got an exclusive interview with Trump before inauguration, none other than Rupert Murdoch (owner of The Times) sat in.
