Spain DTT channels, no one watching
February 9, 2017
From David Del Valle in Madrid
The five new DTT channels in Spain -Atreseries, Be Mad, Ten, Kiss, and Real Madrid HD – that started transmissions eight months ago are failing to make an impact on the market, reaching barely 2 per cent of the audience between them.
According to data from Kantar Media, the five DTT channels got a screen share of 2.1 per cent last year. The best was Atresries with 0.8 per cent while DKiss and Be Mad reached 0.4 per cent respectively. Ten was at 0.3 per cent and Real Madrid HD at just 0.2 per cent.
