Tivùsat to add 9 new HD channels

Italian DTH platform Tivùsat will add nine new TV channels in HD from January 2017.
Five of them will be from Italian public broadcaster RAI – Rai Storia HD, Rai News 24 HD, Rai Gulp HD, Rai Yoyo HD and Rai Scuola HD. Three are from Chinese broadcaster CCTV – CCTV 4, CCTV 9 Documentary and CCTV News. Additionally Turkey’s TRT World will also be available in HD.
In addition, viewers will get two new SD channels – Telenorba and Winga, Super!
Tivùsat has currently 2.9 million active smart-cards and should close the year with 3 million. In total, it offers viewers over 20 channels in HD and over 80 Italian TV channels as well as 33 radio stations.
