Poland: TVN, NBCU content deal

TVN Group has signed an exclusive multi-year agreement with NBCUniversal International Distribution, bringing Polish audience first-run and library features of the studio, including some of the biggest blockbusters of 2015.
Under the deal, TVN will get access to Universal Pictures’ record-breaking 2015 slate, which includes Furious 7, Minions, Jurassic World, Fifty Shades of Grey and Ted 2, as well as other popular hits, such as Despicable Me 2, Fast & Furious 6, Neighbors and Ride Along. NBCUniversal’s latest TV series will also be available to TVN viewers and player.pl users.
Piotr Korycki, Vice President of the Management Board at TVN, said: “We are thrilled that we will be able to access NBCUniversal’s top content and bring it to our audience. Once again, TVN proves to be the home of the most popular feature film franchises in the Polish market. We are convinced that this will be appreciated by our viewers.”
