TIM and Vivendi launch Studio+ in Italy
November 29, 2016

Italian mobile telephony operator TIM and media group Vivendi have launched a new application for viewing original series produced and filmed for smartphones.
TIM customers will have exclusive access on mobile devices, including in HD, over mobile networks, Wi-Fi and off-line, after downloading.
The Studio+ service envisages formats developed specifically using narrower angles and more dynamic screenplays. Seasons will consist of 10 short episodes lasting around 10 minutes each.
Initially, Studio+ will offer 15 complete seasons of different genres, ranging from action to science fiction, romanticism to drama, adventure, suspense and horror, as well as an extensive catalogue of short films, for a total of more than 200 videos.
A new series/season will be launched each week and the catalogue will be available in five different languages (original with dubbing and/or subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian).
The Studio+ offer is available to TIM customers at €3.99/month, with the first month free (instead of €4.99), or at €1.49/week, with the first week free (rather than €1.80).
The service is also available in France and in Latin America (thanks to an agreement with Telefonica), with further rollout in Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia and the US during 2017.
