Mediaset, Paramount FTA deal

Mediaset Spain, operator of Tele 5 and Cuatro, has reached an agreement with Paramount Pictures to broadcast premiere films free-to-air. Films such as Mission Impossible, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek, among others, are included in the deal.
With this deal, Mediaset strengthens its strategy to rely on premiere films to attract ratings and continue leading TV audience figures.
