Spain: Atresmedia’s profit up 46%

The rise in advertising revenues has driven profits at TV group Atresmedia, owner of Antena 3 and La Sexta among other channels, with its 9-months profit up by 46.4 per cent to €101.5 million.
The group’s revenues increased 6.1 per cent to €740.2 million with an EBITDA of €151.7 million, up 26.7 per cent.
The TV business hit total revenues of €617.5 million, up 7 per cent with an EBITDA of €128.8 million, up 28.7 per cent. Total TV ad revenues increased by 6.4 per cent in comparison with the average growth of the advertising market at 3.9 per cent.
