Italian public broadcaster Rai has launched its new multimedia platform, with free access via app and PC, both online and offline.
RaiPlay offers users a constantly updated catalogue of content. It includes 14 RAI channels in live streaming (Rai1, Rai2, Rai3, Rai4, Rai5, RaiNews, RaiSport1, RaiSport2, RaiMovie, RaiPremium, RaiYoyo, RaiGulp, RaiStoria, RaiScuola), a TV Guide, as well as the possibility of watching catch-up content (TV series, movies, documentaries, concerts).
After registration, users can access content via the “view later” option, resume watching a video with the “last seen” option, and save programmes and watch them even without an Internet connection thanks to the “watch offline” option. The App also includes the Chromecast service, enabling users to use it as a remote control and transfer content to the TV set. All activities are multi-device, as the personal preferences are available on any connected device.
The RaiPlay App is available for the iOS and Android operating systems.
