Narcos Season 2: Over 1m pirate downloads
September 9, 2016
Figures exclusively revealed to advanced-television.com indicate that between the period September 2nd and September 7th, the complete set of Narcos Season 2 episodes was downloaded 1,118,799 times. The episodes were also downloaded one-by-one in many cases, with Episode 1 downloaded 710,407 times in this way.
According to content protection and data-analytics solutions specialist MUSO, the second season was downloaded as a bundle, representing the 1,118,799 figure. However, the total number, calculated with the bundle and on an individual basis, equates to 6,366,224 downloads.
According to the firm, the data clearly shows a decreasing download trend by 5.08 per cent between episode 1 to episode 10 of the sophomore season. This could possibly be as a result of people losing interest of the series altogether or perhaps that they are waiting to download the next episode after they’ve finished.
