Global pay-TV operator SPI International is making hundreds of indie and arthouse films available on-demand to Amazon Prime members through FilmBox Live, a stand-alone video subscription service.
The FilmBox Live subscription on Amazon Prime comes with a 7-day free trial offering customers access to a library of feature, documentary and short films from all over the world.
All of the movies and TV programming included with the subscription are available to watch on-demand, on all compatible Amazon Video devices including TVs, Blu-ray players, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, computers, Android and iOS mobile devices.
“We are excited to launch the Filmbox Live service as an Amazon Prime Add-On subscription and we intend to grow our audience by making sure our service is accessible to new subscribers who will get access to the impressive Filmbox Live library whenever and however they want,” says Loni Farhi, President of SPI International. “SPI is planning to add more thematic videos to the on-demand catalogue including documentaries, fight videos and adventure sports content as well as fashion programming.”
