Ericsson exec to integrate TiVo for Rovi

Rovi has tapped former Ericsson exec, Pete Thompson, as its new COO to oversee the integration of TiVo.
The former SVP of Ericsson’s Mediaroom Business Group, Thompson will report to Rovi CEO Tom Carson.
Based in TiVo’s office in San Jose, Thomson will oversee the integration after Rovi agreed to buy TiVo for $1.1 billion (€961 million) in April.
