The European Metadata Group formed
August 30, 2016
Bindinc (Netherlands), media-press.TV (Poland, Germany and Switzerland), and Plurimedia (France) are the founding members of The European Metadata Group
The purpose of the Group is to offer top quality metadata to the European entertainment industry based on strong local expertise in all the various countries. To reach the highest quality metadata possible, within the Group they will work closely on harmonising technical and editorial standards. Whilst each member is keen to supply the best services to the local TV broadcasters, the Group proposes to extend the same standards of services to pan-European companies who need multi-lingual data: SVoD players, TV manufacturers, TV operators, OTT, etc.
Other members will soon join the group.
