Sky has announced that Rachel Riley will be joining Sky Sports. The Countdown co-presenter will be part of the hosting team for its new Friday Night Football coverage which will see Sky Sports show up to ten live Premier League matches on Friday evenings for the first time.

Sky has also confirmed that Gary Neville will be returning to the presenting team following his managerial stint with Valencia CF.

Neville commented: “I am delighted to be rejoining Sky Sports and can’t wait for the start of the new football season, especially as there will be a variety of new programming on the channel.”
