Beijing-based digital TV conditional access smart card supplier China Digital TV is likely to be acquiring 100 per cent ownership of Beijing Super TV and Beijing Dagong Technology.
Both these businesses are already subsidiaries of China Digital. China Digital indirectly owns 90 per cent of Beijing Super TV, and 80 per cent of Beijing Dagong.
Both transactions are currently ‘non-binding’ but have the support of directors of the subsidiary companies.
China Digital TV Holding is listed on the USA’s Nasdaq exchange.
