Sky Deutschland will make Sky Sports News HD available as a free-to-air channel in Germany and Austria from December 2016.

The 24-hour channel will be broadcast in HD free across all distribution channels – satellite, cable, online and mobile – making it available to all TV viewers regardless of whether or not they are Sky subscribers.

The channel launched on Sky Deutschland in December 2011.
