The Malaga office which opened in 2010, has grown significantly from just one person, to over 50 today, and is primarily focused on supporting Piksel’s micro-services architecture (MSA) philosophy that underpins its flagship approach for delivering video over the internet in a fast and flexible way.
Allan Dunn, Piksel’s Chief Operations Officer, said: “Our Spanish operation is staffed with incredibly talented technical architects, software developers, QA specialists, and project managers, whom play a key role in supporting the continuing development of the Piksel Palette™ and client projects using a DevOps approach. Recently, we formed a machine learning and artificial intelligence team in Malaga to support our product development efforts in this dynamic area. These teams have developed under the leadership and guidance of Mauricio Farache, a Piksel Senior Technical Architect, who has personally overseen the growth and been central to cementing Malaga’s position within Piksel’s office network. Our prospects and customers in the region will certainly benefit from our additional resources in the region.”
