From David Del Valle in Madrid
Mediapro-owned new DTT channel Gol has reached an agreement with La Liga to broadcast free-to-air one football match from the Primera División and four from the Segunda División, along with highlights, every weekend over the next three years.
The deal is valued at €55 million. Last December, Mediapro also reached an agreement with La Liga to broadcast through the pay TV channel BeIn Sport eight football matches from Primera División, including one with Barca or Real Madrid every weekend for €1.9 billion.
