Curzon Home Cinema is bringing free and exclusive live events, as they happen, direct to users’ home screen. On Wednesday June 1st, Salma Hayek, Toby Jones and Shirley Henderson will join director Matteo Garrone at Curzon Mayfair for the premiere of Palme d’Or nominee Tale of Tales. Home viewers can be part of the red carpet and Q&A event by tuning into the live broadcast, streamed directly to their device for free via the Curzon Home Cinema website.
Following the recent launch of the Curzon Player apps for iOS and Android devices, this new live streaming strand is the latest expansion to Curzon’s innovative approach, giving film lovers nationwide a chance to be part of the excitement of live Curzon Cinema events.
Curzon describes Garrone’s Tale of Tales as the perfect launch pad for the Curzon Home Cinema Live Events strand, with its June 17 release via Curzon Artificial Eye set to be the widest day and date opening for a film in the UK.
“Curzon is staying ahead of the game, expanding our innovative day and date strategy to encompass live streaming and bringing the excitement of cinema events, usually confined to London, to the rest of the country,” declared Director of Curzon Home Cinema Philip Mordecai.
