May 12, 2016
Cable Europe and CTAM Europe have confirmed the addition of three more global content providers to their membership line-up.
Turner, AMC Networks International and NBC Universal are the latest broadcasters to become joint members of the two cable industry bodies. They join Disney, Discovery Communications and Viacom International Media Networks Northern Europe as Associate Members of Cable Europe and CTAM Europe.
Matthias Kurth, Executive Chairman of Cable Europe, said: “In a converging industry it makes perfect sense to draw together the network operators with the content creators in a way we never have before. We’re delighted to welcome Turner, NBC Universal and AMC Networks International to our membership. It’s never been more relevant to provide a platform for co-operation on strategic issues of mutual interest, and the high level of engagement shown by global content providers speaks for itself.”
