Netflix reality TV series with Stallone
May 10, 2016
Netflix is entering the reality TV genre for the first time with a global series featuring and produced by Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone.
The 10-episode event series will feature 108 athletes from 6 different countries take their shot at running one of the most physically demanding obstacle courses ever devised. All episodes will be made available simultaneously once filiming has completed.
“As a global Internet TV network, Netflix can uniquely create a compelling event that pits great competitors from six countries against one another, with commentators that audiences from these countries love and then unleash all of the episodes, at once, in multiple languages for our members to enjoy no matter where they are,” said Erik Barmack, VP, International Originals. “With Sylvester Stallone […] at the helm, it’s going to be outrageously fun.”
