MTG World rebrands as Viasat World
May 9, 2016
MTG World is rebranding itself as Viasat World after the channel operator split from MTG in October 2015. The company distributes 27 pay-TV channels in 47 countries across Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS, Turkey, Africa, Israel and the US.
“Changing our corporate brand to Viasat World is a natural step in our evolution as an independent content provider. People all over the world enjoy our entertainment under the Viasat brands and the alignment of our corporate brand with our consumer brand will benefit both our business partners and our audiences by enabling us communicate in a simpler way” said Irina Gofman, Group President & CEO Viasat World.
