Hulu to expand with linear and cable nets?

US streaming service Hulu is planning to expand from a VoD only offering to adding live networks and cable TV networks. The video portal, owned by ABC, Fox and NBC, competes with Netflix and Prime and this move would also put it in competition against Dish Network’s Sling TV and Sony’s Vue services.
ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN, Fox, FX, Fox News and Fox’s sports channels are expected to be among the linear, live channels available on the service, which is expected to launch next year, according to the WSJ.
The service would cost about $40 monthly, according to the report
