Wiztivi, a specialist in UI design and development, has entered into a partnership with Alpha Networks, a company specialised in backend services to offer pay-TV and OTT operators an end-to-end and multiscreen solution by associating their respective products TIMELESSUI and Tucano.
TIMELESSUI, Wiztivi’s flagship UI, is available on all the main platforms (STB, connected TVs including Android TV, Mobile / tablet, PC / Mac) and is showcases features such as patent pending EPG, live, VoD, catch-up, recommendation and many more. TIMELESSUI is based on the Wiztivi’s HTML5 Framework, which makes it easy to add new features and deploy on a new platform to ensure an innovative product roadmap with an aggressive Time-to-Market.
Tucano is the flagship of Alpha Networks – a back-end software, enabling media companies, network operators and service providers to offer their subscribers pay-TV content. Tucano software includes access portals for system administrators, operators and resellers. Furthermore, Tucano provides an Open API interface that allows front-end implementations for a customised and enriched user experience.
“TIMELESSUI, Tucano brings to the market the best user experience and backend features across all device types and all video technologies. This integration, fully based on API, has been done in couple of months, thanks to the complete alignments between the teams and technologies used”, commented Guillaume Devezeaux, CTO at Alpha Networks.
