BIS TV goes HD on Fransat

French free-to-air digital satellite TV service Fransat is adding seven thematic channels in HD from the BIS TV package starting April 25th.
Fransat viewers equipped with an HD decoder who subscribe to the BIS TV offer will now receive seven channels in the BIS TV bouquet in HD: Action , RTL9 , AB1 , AB Moteurs , Animaux , Trek and Science & Vie TV.
The Eutelsat subsidiary provides satellite delivery of France’s DTT services.
To support households currently receiving BIS TV in standard definition who need to upgrade to HD, BIS TV is offering a refund of €30 on the purchase of a Fransat HD decoder. This offer is activated for new subscribers via a refund of access fees to BIS TV package worth €40.
