YipTV joins T-Mobile’s Binge On
April 6, 2016
YipTV has joined T-Mobile’s “Un-carrier” based Binge On platform making it possible for T-Mobile customers in the US (on qualifying plans) to watch more than 100 international and domestic live television channels without eating up their high-speed data each month.
YipTV is an OTT mobile cable service that brings live-channel broadcasts of sports, news and entertainment from around the globe to the tens of millions of multilingual foreign-born consumers living in the US, with a focus on the underserved Hispanic market.
“T-Mobile is aligning itself nicely with OTT broadband services and mobile cable operators like us as a result of its new, very flexible approach to data and mobile usage,” said Mike Tribolet, co-founder and CEO of YipTV. “Being part of Binge On makes YipTV a greater value than ever before. T-Mobile customers can watch as much television as they want on YipTV without the fear of running out of their high-speed data. This effectively makes us the best mobile cable value anywhere.”
