Rocket company SpaceX was forced to delay the Florida launch of the SES-9 satellite late in the evening of February 24th. It cited the risk of bad weather as the cause.
SpaceX will make another launch attempt during the evening of February 25th at 6.49pm (Florida time). “The rocket and satellite remain healthy” said a Twitter note from SpaceX.
SES-9 is designed to supply extra DTH television channels and boost broadband connectivity for India and the Philippines and other Asia-Pacific regions.
